Geology of Snæfellsnes

2012 we added a special exhibition on the geology of Snæfellsnes Peninsula. to the Volcano Museum in Stykkishólmur. The exhibition contains a geolocical map of the area with interesting information about Snæfellsnes assembled by Prof. Haraldur Sigurdsson. The exhibition contains a lot of images and texts where guests can explore on Ipads mounted on the map of Snæfellsnes. On the Ipads it's possible to see unique photographs from Snæfellsjökull Glacier, Berserkjahraun lava and more.
